Solo Motorsports offers 14″ of fully-functional 4wd travel for your 1st. Gen. Tacoma with the option of BOXED or Tubular Upper Control Arms!!  Combine this 14″ long-travel kit with our Fully-Fabricated  Spindles and lower Uniball coversion with 7/8″ outer heims and your Tacoma’s strength and durability is greatly improved.  The arms pivot on polyurethane bushings and Delrin bushings are upgradeable.  Our 4340 axle shafts are designed to fit your stock inner & outer cv joints.  Axle set up is available. Delrin bushings are shown and are upgradeable.  3/4″ Heimed BOXED UCAs are available for additional front end alignment parameters due to frame fatigue and/or damage.

UPPER CONTROL ARM DOUBLE-SHEAR KIT

A must for long travel kits!  Solo Motorsports offers our upper control arm double-shear kit for most late model Toyotas.  Our double-shear kit aligns the long factory upper control arm bolt strengthening the factory coil buckets.   This weld-it-yourself kit will work with any aftermarket upper control arm setup. The CNC plates are cut from 10-gauge cold-rolled U.S. steel for high strength and come with the “Solo” logo cut out on front plates.

’96-’04 W-I-Y TACOMA REAR SHOCK HOOP

Unlike most truck manufacturers, Gen. 1 Toyotas have their shock mounts inside of the frame.  Our weld-on shock hoop kit mounts outside of the factory frame enhancing on and off road performance. This set up works great with any aftermarket leaf pack.  We recommend the Deaver Prerunner Pack to start.  An 8”or 10” stroke 2.0 shock mounts on the lower portion of the axle housing’.
